"Yet the righteous holds to his way, and he who has clean hands grows stronger and stronger."
Hand washing has taken a big upturn in popularity recently. With all that's been happening around the world, the advent of cold & flu season, the dawn of allergy season, and the appearance of the coronavirus, we are all scrambling to wash our hands and avoid touching our faces.
But, when we aren't elbow deep in a pandemic, how clean do you keep your hands?
They warn us that we come into contact with millions of germs on all kinds of surfaces when we touch them. Indeed, we can spread them around with our hands too. What else do we spread with our hands? When we touch our keyboards and phones, or even one another? What do we pick up as we scroll through timelines and stories? What do we infect ourselves with when our hands land on television remotes?
Be mindful of what you consume, where you are getting your germs, and how you have the power to spread it. Wash your hands, anoint your mind with the Word, cleanse your spirit in prayer, and keep your eye on God. It'll amaze you how well He cleans up.
