Announcements || Week of 09.11.16 **T-SHIRT INFORMATION**

Happy Wednesday OGMBC Family!

We'd like to apologize for the late posting of the video and written announcements, as well as the rushed manner in which the video announcements were presented. Due to technical difficulties, we had to alter our planned posting timeline. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

1. Church Clean Up Day-

This coming Saturday, September 17th, 2016, we will be hosting another church clean up day. It starts at 12:00pm and we hope to see many of you there. It was a pleasure working with you all last Saturday. Let's make this clean up day an even larger success so that we can present our Homecoming Guests with our very best.

2. Homecoming is SUNDAY! -

With services starting at 11AM and 3PM, it is sure to be a wonderful occasion! Our afternoon guests are Pastor Samuel Stratton and Greater South Baptist Church. Lunch will be served. *We are asking members, if possible, to give a little extra to cover the cost of feeding the expected larger crowd. And to bring desserts like cake, pie, cupcakes etc.

3. T-Shirts for "I Love My Church Week" -

This year, Oak Grove will be participating in I Love My Church Week. To show our support of the movement, the members were asked to purchase shirts to wear on the kick-off Sunday for the week. Here are the prices.

Sis. Noria Grant collected over 15 names on Sunday and a total of 37 prospective shirts to order. If you are interested in participating and would like to purchase a shirt, please see Sis. Noria Grant this coming Sunday. Please note that money must be collected by the 22nd, so she will be receipting orders on Sunday.

Also, "I Love My Church" week falls in November, so it might be a little cool outside. Consider buying a long sleeve shirt for your comfort.

4. Pastor Appreciation -

Please mark your calendars as we plan to celebrate our pastor on Sunday, October 2nd. Pastor Garry Jones and New Wells Grove will be our morning guests, and Pastor Morris Tipton and First Baptist Church East Nashville will be our afternoon guests.

5. Bro. Theodore Malone -

On Sunday, October 16, at 3:00 p.m., we will be celebrating the ordination of Bro. Theodore Malone as a Deacon at Oak Grove. Let's come together to celebrate this wonderful occasion.

6. New Website Design -

We've done it again! OGMBC's website has transformed yet again, to not only be more visitor friendly, but easier to maintain and update on our end as well. We would love to receive any feedback on our new design to see how we could improve it further.
